Job Description

Payroll Specialist managing end-to-end payroll, compliance, reporting, and client service for Vintage Hill Consulting, an HCM professional services firm. Serving multiple U.S. clients remotely while resolving payroll issues and improving processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits accurately
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Address client inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits
  • Build strong relationships and provide exceptional service
  • Utilize payroll software and tools to process payroll efficiently
  • Generate payroll reports for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and adjust processes accordingly
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors
  • Assist with additional client projects, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or managed payroll services
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
