Job Description
Payroll Specialist managing end-to-end payroll, compliance, reporting, and client service for Vintage Hill Consulting, an HCM professional services firm. Serving multiple U.S. clients remotely while resolving payroll issues and improving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients
- Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits accurately
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Address client inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits
- Build strong relationships and provide exceptional service
- Utilize payroll software and tools to process payroll efficiently
- Generate payroll reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and adjust processes accordingly
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors
- Assist with additional client projects, as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or managed payroll services
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
