Job Description
People Business Partner driving performance and culture at Cherry, a medical-practice Buy Now, Pay Later fintech. Supporting distributed revenue teams and company-wide People initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct skip-level meetings, new-hire check-ins, and exit interviews; synthesize insights and drive follow-up actions
- Partner with functional leaders on performance management, promotion recommendations, and compensation reviews
- Proactively identify and resolve employee issues, providing guidance on documentation and best practices
- Interpret and implement People policies and benefits programs, and develop new offerings
- Plan and execute rewards trips, swag programs, company retreats, and/or regional meet-ups
- Run reporting and analytics, conduct background checks, and project manage
- Continuously improve People processes, programs, and service quality
Requirements:
- Experience supporting distributed teams, specifically revenue/sales departments
- 2–5 years of experience serving in HR Business Partner and HR Generalist roles
- Comfortable working with data sets that drive insights and future action plans
- Well versed in state and federal employment law
- Proven aptitude to learn new skills and systems quickly
- Deep understanding of managing multifaceted projects with numerous stakeholders and delivering results on a timeline
- Strong data visualization skills and ability to communicate findings/recommendations to a wide audience
- Experience with a modern HR tech stack such as Rippling, GSuite, and Slack is a nice to have
