Job Description

People Operations Coordinator supporting HR operations across North America at Irth, a critical network infrastructure technology provider. Managing HRIS, benefits, payroll support, compliance, reporting, and employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, including updates, audits, and reporting, to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, vendor liaison, and employee questions.
  • Assist with payroll processes by preparing and validating data, following up on timesheets, and coordinating with the payroll provider.
  • Manage leave tracking and accommodations, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other leaves.
  • Prepare standard HR reports and dashboards covering turnover, headcount, new hires, and diversity metrics.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses.
  • Maintain and update People policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Support policy rollouts and training.
  • Support HR projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and DEI initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and payroll administration support, HRIS data accuracy, employee communications, compliance tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with employees, managers, and stakeholders across North America during US business hours.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative role supporting HR functions.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g., Workable).
  • Strong comfort with Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency with Rippling HRIS system.
  • Solid knowledge of employment-related documentation and basic compliance (I9, W-4, state reporting).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of US/Canada compliance.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver tasks on deadline in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Availability to work during US business hours.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
