Job Description
Physical security Solution Architect designing enterprise surveillance, access-control, intrusion-detection and IoT solutions for global technology services provider. Supporting presales, demonstrations and large-scale deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Design integrated enterprise physical security solutions, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and IoT-connected devices
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the pre-sales process
- Meet with clients to understand business, security and technical requirements
- Conduct site assessments and technical surveys
- Develop solution designs, configurations and implementation recommendations
- Create accurate technical proposals
- Lead client proofs of concept and product demonstrations
- Translate complex technical concepts into solutions clients can easily understand
- Work with vendor and manufacturer teams
- Collaborate with delivery teams to help ensure successful implementation
- Support large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments
- Provide solution and product training to sales teams and clients
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other team members
Requirements:
- 4+ years of technical pre-sales experience
- Strong experience with enterprise physical security systems
- Knowledge of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and connected/IoT security devices
- Experience designing and delivering integrated technology solutions
- Experience supporting large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching
- Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience working with IT, facilities and security stakeholders
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel nationally to meet with clients

- VCE – Video Security Specialist
- VCE – Alarms Specialist
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology or a related field preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
