Job Description
Pre-Sales Architect driving Azure cloud solutions and partner sales for Arrow ECS, an IT solutions distributor. Supporting resellers through technical engagements, enablement, workshops, and tailored architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate resellers and customer needs, drive sales execution, and develop opportunities for Net New and Existing Customers
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, and regional staff across all vertical markets
- Define and monitor performance metrics for vendors’ products and services
- Conduct online and face-to-face meetings with partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Apply technical pre-sales and solution architecture knowledge to solve complex problems using innovative solutions
- Build technical awareness of new products through technical road maps, workshops, webinars, and events
- Contribute to process management and process improvements and provide informal guidance to junior colleagues
- Provide training and support to partners on products and services
- Contribute to business revenue and profitability through initiatives designed to deliver financial performance
- Perform additional pre-sales activities and initiatives as required
Requirements:
- Experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting, and enablement
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Modern Workplace
- Broader knowledge of Microsoft Cloud and Hybrid Solutions and Cloud Security, or AWS, Marketplace, Partner Centre, or aligned vendor programmes and incentives
- Knowledge of Microsoft Licensing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
