Job Description
Procurement Analyst supporting Raytheon’s aerospace and defense programs. Managing suppliers, purchase orders, negotiations, pricing, and compliance for government and commercial contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform procurement and supplier management activities for U.S. Government and Commercial contracts
- Place low- to medium-complexity, medium-volume purchase orders
- Use source selection techniques and compile and analyze data for price analysis
- Conduct negotiations, including terms and conditions
- Identify supplier risks
- Communicate prime contract, quality, terms and conditions requirements to suppliers
- Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, program management, and other key groups
- Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance against company metric targets
- Complete tasks proactively, compliantly, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- University degree
- 12 months or less of relevant professional experience, excluding internships
- U.S. citizenship; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- DoD procurement experience
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Ability to participate in formal negotiations involving price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication with internal customers and suppliers (preferred)
- Organizational skills (preferred)
- Ability to perform and understand price analyses and sole selection/justification, with guidance as needed (preferred)
- Experience with SAP (preferred)
- Security clearance is not required
