Job Description

Project Manager leading CRO laboratory studies for Precision for Medicine, accelerating novel therapeutic development. Managing timelines, budgets, risks, clients, vendors, and cross-functional delivery across European remote locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new and existing CRO laboratory projects spanning assay development and clinical testing, biorepository/sample management and logistics, and kitting for client studies
  • Manage designated protocols throughout the project lifecycle and ensure project performance and client satisfaction
  • Lead cross-functional teams and monitor operational delivery against contracted timelines and budgets
  • Lead projects from conception through close-out, including planning, execution, risk management, communication, stakeholder management, scope and cost control
  • Create and manage project timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasts, and resource plans
  • Coordinate daily activities, delegate responsibilities, and supervise contracted work
  • Lead implementation of new and ongoing studies as the client-facing company representative
  • Coordinate project development, data gathering, data management, inventory control, and shipping procedures
  • Prepare and present project information, reports, and correspondence for internal and external meetings
  • Track revenue objectives, project expenses, client billing, budgets, and variances
  • Create and report project metrics
  • Identify out-of-scope work, operational issues, and project risks; escalate and resolve as appropriate
  • Maintain and evolve project documentation to approvable status
  • Ensure work complies with design and performance standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
  • Mentor junior Project Managers and assist senior staff as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering
  • Experience working as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories at a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office/MS 365 applications
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion
  • Able to read, write, fluently speak, and comprehend English
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10–25%
  • Extended work hours may be necessary to meet business demands
