Job Description
Senior Proposal Manager leading complex, high-value federal government proposals for ASRC Federal. Managing cross-functional teams, reviews, pricing coordination, and proposal production remotely with travel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams for complex opportunities
- Collaborate with business development, capture managers, solution architects, technical SMEs, operations, and functional professionals to plan and manage compliant, compelling proposal content
- Support proposals for federal government Defense, Space, Civilian, Health, and Supply Chain and Logistics agencies
- Participate in and contribute to solution development sessions
- Lead and mentor proposal team members throughout the proposal process
- Plan and organize proposal content for ease of evaluation and scoring
- Chair color reviews and lead adjudication of reviewer recommendations
- Coordinate with pricing and contracts
- Oversee proposal production activities
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, and proposal support teams
- Ownership mentality and accountability for Proposal Management responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Proposal Manager for federal government proposals
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills
- Track record of managing and winning large, complex proposals
- Track record of managing and winning HTRO / scorecard proposals
- Attention to detail
- Ability to coach writers and manage proposal content
- Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint, Shipley Proposal Process, and industry best practices
- Ability to travel for proposal development and solutioning working sessions
- Orals proposal experience preferred
- Experience with proposal and growth-related AI tools preferred
- Proposal Management training and/or APMP Certification preferred
