Job Description
Quality Analyst designing tests and reporting defects for EVERSANA INTOUCH, a life sciences marketing agency. Ensuring web, mobile, and email products meet business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Analyze test results and report defects to relevant stakeholders
- Identify, track, and document software issues and report them to the project team
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software meets business and technical requirements
- Recommend improvements to the testing process
- Maintain accurate work time records in the time entry system
- Continuously develop role-related skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices
- Model inclusive behaviors and proactively manage bias
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in the software development industry, with a focus on software testing
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches, and the software development life cycle
- In-depth knowledge of test planning and execution
- Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases
- Proven track record of identifying and reporting defects
- Experience collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and improve software quality
- Experience testing web applications, mobile apps, and emails
- Experience with cross-browser apps such as Sauce Labs is a plus
