Job Description
HR Business Partner and Recruiting Manager driving talent acquisition and employee engagement in a B2C digital marketplace. Partnering with leadership to enhance organizational health and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technology and business roles for a B2C digital marketplace, including: Engineering: senior and staff-level engineers and data scientists
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define talent needs, calibrate on role scope, and build effective hiring strategies
- Proactively source, directly contact, and attract top-tier technical talent in a competitive market
- Drive a high-quality candidate experience from first touch through offer and close
- Use data, market insights, and storytelling to influence hiring decisions
- Continuously improve recruiting processes to support scale and speed
- Serve as an HRBP to the President and leadership team, supporting: Performance reviews and feedback cycles, Manager coaching and employee development, Talent planning and organizational health, Culture building
- Provide guidance on employee relations, engagement, and team effectiveness
- Partner with People Operations and leadership to implement people programs aligned with business goals
- Act as a trusted advisor in a dynamic, evolving environment
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting and/or HRBP roles, with significant recruiting depth
- Proven experience recruiting in a B2C marketplace and/or technology environment
- Demonstrated success hiring across levels—from senior leadership to entry-level technical roles
- Strong sourcing skills and comfort recruiting hard-to-fill, competitive roles
- HRBP experience supporting B2C marketplace and/or technology teams, including performance management and coaching
- Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically in a high-growth setting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Data-driven, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
