Job Description

Recruiting Manager leading Cross Country Staffing’s US travel allied healthcare recruitment team. Driving recruiter performance, healthcare-professional placements, growth, and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the Travel Allied recruiting team responsible for recruiting and placing healthcare professionals for travel allied assignments throughout the US
  • Develop strategic initiatives and action plans to meet working nurse volume and profit goals
  • Align long-term team goals with individual short-term goals and promote accountability through clear expectations
  • Manage individual production goals driving financial results, growth, and retention
  • Communicate milestones and successes to keep the team focused, engaged, motivated, and inspired
  • Assess individual performance, develop employee skills and abilities, and implement improvement plans
  • Facilitate annual performance evaluations
  • Mitigate and resolve concerns impacting healthcare travelers by initiating contact with professionals and orchestrating resolutions
  • Cultivate accountability, responsibility, and trust within the team
  • Participate in and own interview, selection, and onboarding processes to attract, select, and retain talent
  • Plan and conduct training for new team members in coordination with the functional training department
  • Model the “Standards of Excellence” platform within Cross Country Staffing
  • Perform other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 36 months of sales experience in the service industry and/or recruiting experience preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in a leadership/management capacity required
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions
