Job Description

Regional Sales Manager responsible for outside sales in the central US for electrical solutions. Focus on customer relationship management and business development in the utility space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans for achieving goals and growth objectives
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor products
  • Develop rapport and establish strategic relationships with customers
  • Deliver presentations to communicate the company’s value proposition
  • Build and advocate deal strategies with clients
  • Plan and implement a weekly travel schedule for customer meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Engineering, or applicable outside sales experience
  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in outside sales and account management
  • Technical sales experience in the utility space selling electrical products
  • Experience leading a team of sales professionals preferred
  • Experience leading manufacturing rep agencies preferred
  • Consultative and strategic sales experience selling into the refining, power, and heavy industrial industries
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • A valid driver's license is required.
