Job Description
Manager, Retail Sales responsible for executing BODi’s retail expansion strategy and driving growth across key accounts. Seeking a high-ownership leader in health and fitness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functionally with retail partners and external broker teams to drive distribution and execution
- Manage day-to-day relationships with key retail accounts and broker partners
- Ensure strong in-store execution and program compliance
- Partner with brokers to drive accountability, priorities, and performance
- Support line reviews, buyer meetings, and retail presentations
- Drive distribution expansion across priority retail partners
- Help develop retailer-specific channel strategies
- Translate brand initiatives into compelling retail selling stories
- Monitor velocity, turns, ACV, and weeks of supply
- Track promotional effectiveness and trade performance
- Provide regular business updates and insights
- Partner with marketing on retail programming and launches
- Collaborate with supply chain on inventory planning
- Work with finance on forecast alignment and planning
- Support commercialization and product launch readiness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5–8+ years of experience in retail sales, national accounts, or CPG commercialization
- Strong understanding of the CPG, sports nutrition, or functional wellness landscape
- Working knowledge of retail math (velocity, turns, trade spend, WOS)
- Familiarity with broker model and retail selling processes
- Experience working directly with brokers and retail buyers
- Proven track record supporting retail growth initiatives
- Experience in sports nutrition, functional beverage, or adjacent category strongly preferred
