Job Description
RevOps Consultant configuring Salesforce, reporting, and revenue processes for Operatus client accounts. Delivering trusted analytics and recommendations to help growing companies scale revenue operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as consultant on two to four RevOps client accounts at a time.
- Gather requirements and build/configure Salesforce fields, record types, page layouts, Flow, validation rules, and formula fields.
- Execute Salesforce data loads, merges, and backfills using tools such as Data Loader or Jetstream; define matching and deduplication logic and data hygiene cadence.
- Own client working sessions, status, priorities, expectations, and weekly cadence; raise risks to the architect or delivery lead.
- Define revenue metrics with sales, marketing, customer success, and finance leaders, standardize metric definitions, and retire unused reports.
- Design and build Salesforce reports, custom report types, dashboards, joined and summary reports; use spreadsheets, SQL, and BI tools for analysis as applicable.
- Analyze revenue funnel, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy; identify revenue leakage between stages and teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to client leadership in plain language.
- Run discovery and translate stakeholder input into requirements and solution designs.
- Assess and redesign lead management, routing, opportunity stages, forecasting cadence, and marketing-sales-customer success handoffs.
- Lead engagements or workstreams under architect oversight, owning client relationships, plans, and weekly reviews.
- Help scope and estimate RevOps work, mentor admins and analysts on reporting, and create reusable templates and playbooks.
- Start on four established client accounts and build reusable reporting templates and metric definitions during the first 60 days.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in RevOps, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or Salesforce administration
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration: Flow, validation rules, formula fields, record types, and an understanding of security and sharing.
- Deep Salesforce reporting and dashboard experience. You are comfortable in the data model, custom report types, and joined and summary reports, not only in report builder.
- A working understanding of the full revenue cycle: lead management, pipeline and forecasting, renewals and expansion, and how sales, marketing, customer success, and finance hand work to each other.
- Strong client-facing communication, including at an executive level
- Experience running discovery, writing requirements, and estimating your own work.
- Hands-on data loading, deduplication, and backfill experience in Salesforce, including the tooling and matching logic, not only the findings.
- A track record of using reporting or analysis to change a business decision. We will ask for an example.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Preferred: Experience in a client-facing consulting role. Has run 3–4 client accounts at the same time and led at least one engagement with only light senior oversight.
- Preferred: Sales Cloud Consultant and Advanced Administrator certifications
- Preferred: SQL and a BI tool such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or CRM Analytics, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
- Preferred: Experience with GTM tools connected to Salesforce, such as HubSpot or Marketo, CPQ, Gong, or Clari.
- Preferred: CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) build experience.
- Preferred: Exposure to a finance or billing system connected to Salesforce, such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct, including reconciling CRM bookings, pipeline, or ARR to finance.
- Currently living in North America (US & Canada)
Benefits:
- Work remotely, no commuting to the office (+ $500 home office stipend)
- Competitive salary and bonuses (including raises for certifications)
- 5% client referral
- 401k with 3% company contribution for all
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (US), fully covered for employees
- Flexible time off (at least 15 days/year recommended)
- Parental leave (4 months for primary caregiver; 1 month for non-primary)
- $1,500 per year per employee L&D budget
- Company sponsored trainings
