Job Description
Sales Development Representative at Engenious University driving enrollments for programs in AI testing, responsible for lead sourcing, outreach, and collaboration with marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and source new leads through LinkedIn, Discord, communities, events, webinars, and other relevant channels
- Research and profile prospects based on fit, geography, career background, and likelihood to convert
- Reach out to leads via LinkedIn, email, calls, text, and other relevant communication channels
- Start meaningful conversations with prospects and uncover their current career challenges, goals, and level of urgency
- Position Engenious University’s AI Career Accelerator as a career-growth and career-stability solution
- Book qualified discovery or sales calls for the team
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture them through the pipeline
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and support pipeline hygiene
- Build and improve outreach cadences and follow-up sequences
- Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
- Suggest and test new SDR strategies for lead generation and conversion
- Use AI and automation tools to improve prospecting, prioritization, and outreach efficiency
- Support lead generation for specific initiatives such as webinars, offline events, and upcoming cohort launches
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SDR, BDR, outbound sales, lead generation, or inside sales
- Strong prospecting and lead qualification skills
- Experience with consultative selling and personalized outreach
- Confidence using LinkedIn and CRM tools for pipeline management
- Strong written and spoken English
- Ability to understand customer pain points and turn them into compelling sales conversations
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and initiative
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built and improved
- Interest in AI, QA, edtech, career development, or tech upskilling
- Willingness to experiment with automation and AI-enabled sales workflows
