Job Description

Sales Engineer responsible for driving growth in Water & Power sector for Rotork in Taiwan. Engaging with end users and EPCs while expanding sales channels for Data Center projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth for Rotork products and services across all divisions, focusing on Water & Power sectors.
  • Develop and manage distribution channels and strategic partnerships within Taiwan.
  • Maintain strong relationships with end users, EPCs, and channel partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain profitable margins.
  • Represent Rotork at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
  • Identify and proactively pursue CPI project opportunities at feasibility and design stages.
  • Engage with critical parts of the CPI value chain, including Cooling Equipment & Server Room OEMs, Valve Makers, Contractors, EPCs, and End Users.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to position Rotork as the preferred supplier in Data Center cooling and related CPI segments.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and business development teams, product managers, operations, and senior management to deliver growth objectives.
  • Report progress within the Rotork Data Centre Tier 1 business initiative, and take guidance from Global Business Development Lead for Data Centres.
  • Expand sales channels and develop strong value-chain relationships at corporate and regional levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales and business development.
  • Strong technical understanding of flow control solutions and market requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to travel extensively within Taiwan and occasionally internationally.
