Job Description
Solutions architect defining microservice architectures at Hitss. Collaborating with development teams for continuous improvement and security standards.
Responsibilities:
- **Main Responsibilities**
- Define the reference architecture for microservice-based solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s technology strategy.
- Develop and maintain technical standards and guidelines for application development, integration, monitoring, and security.
- Support development teams in implementing microservices, promoting best practices in design, versioning, testing, and API documentation.
- Evaluate system performance, scalability, and resilience, proposing continuous improvements.
- Work on service orchestration and observability, focusing on availability, logging, and metrics.
- Conduct technical assessments of new technologies and frameworks, identifying opportunities for architectural evolution.
- Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices integrated with the microservices architecture.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards and API governance.
Requirements:
- **Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in software architecture and microservices modeling.
- Strong knowledge of integration via REST APIs, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.), and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Proficiency with modern frameworks and languages such as Java/Spring Boot, Python, .NET Core, and Node.js.
- **Desired Qualifications**
- Certifications in software architecture or cloud (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (EDA) and CQRS/Event Sourcing.
- Experience with API Gateway and Service Mesh (Kong, Istio, Linkerd, etc.).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
