Job Description
Sales Engineer at BRINC supporting the sales of life-saving drone technology. Help facilitate product demonstrations and technical discussions with customers to enhance public safety.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical expert supporting Account Executives during sales engagements, ensuring customers understand the capabilities and value of BRINC’s DFR solutions.
- Help facilitate technical discussions with customers to understand how our solution can cater to their agency and operations
- Conduct live product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements, both onsite and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software, providing hands-on support to customers.
- Act as the Voice of the Customer (VoC) by collecting and communicating feedback to engineering teams for product enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership, hardware engineering, and software engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in product offerings.
- Develop technical documentation, training materials, and best practices for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support deployment and integration efforts for customers adopting BRINC’s technology.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging UAV technologies.
- 75% Travel Required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales engineering, solutions engineering, or field engineering role.
- Experience selling software solutions (SAAS)
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in real-world environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and convey technical concepts.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams.
- Comfortable with extensive travel (75%+), including customer site visits, trade shows, and field operations.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in public safety, defense, or industrial UAV applications.
- Technical certifications in drone operations, networking, or software development.
- Hands-on experience with drone flight operations and regulatory compliance.
- Strong hardware and software expertise, preferably in UAV/drone technology, robotics, or autonomous systems.
- Experience with radio communications, networking, sensors, and cloud-based software platforms is a plus.
- Experience selling in regulated environments
