Job Description
Sales Lead owning and building the revenue engine for an accounting firm focused on SMBs.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle — pipeline, closing, onboarding handoff, and retention/expansion
- Build and optimize an MRR-first model with tight packaging, pricing, and scope boundaries
- Personally implement automation and AI tools to increase monthly closes and sales efficiency
- Lead sales meetings, ops meetings, scorecard reviews, and monthly KPI reviews with the Owner
- Manage and develop direct reports — Lead Qualifier and Operations Analyst
- Build and maintain SOPs, templates, and checklists to ensure repeatable, scalable results
- Track and report KPIs including MRR mix, client retention, close rate, and pipeline coverage
- Develop referral and partner channels (accounting firms, CFOs, attorneys, lenders, brokers, etc.)
- Maintain a strong Google Maps presence and client-facing visibility
- Handle sensitive client and company information with strict confidentiality
Requirements:
- Proven 0→1 sales track record — you have scaled a services business from early stage to $1M–$5M in revenue
- Experience selling monthly recurring services such as bookkeeping, accounting, fractional CFO, IT managed services, or similar
- Demonstrated team leadership experience managing teams of 3–10 people
- Strong scorecard discipline — you manage performance through KPIs and numbers
- Experience managing distributed or global teams across time zones
- Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment with minimal management layers
- Experience working with US-based clients.
