Job Description
Sales Manager leading a remote team of Account Executives in a high-velocity environment. Focused on coaching and driving team performance while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Directly lead and develop a team of 6-10 AEs in a high-velocity, metrics-driven outbound sales environment
- Set clear expectations and coach on daily/monthly sales activities and targets
- Foster a growth-focused, coachable culture instilling grit, adaptability, and a strong work ethic
- Champion smart, data-driven selling: analyzing dashboards, diagnosing bottlenecks, and continuously finding ways to optimize team performance
- Conduct regular call monitoring, deal inspection, and live coaching including joint calls or role play as needed
- Provide concise weekly performance summaries, pipeline forecasts, and hiring needs to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2+ years of frontline sales management, ideally in a high-volume, SaaS or outbound SDR/AE setting
- Demonstrated leadership: ability to motivate, guide, and upskill diverse teams especially in a remote or distributed setting
- Track record of meeting/exceeding team metrics and developing sellers to achieve and grow
- Deep problem-solving and business acumen skilled at diagnosing gaps, prioritizing opportunities, and acting decisively
- Expertise in outbound strategy: modern prospecting, CRM hygiene, follow-up, and messaging optimization
- Excellent communication skills: clear, direct, and motivating on live coaching calls, pipeline reviews, and executive updates
