Job Description
Salesforce Support Specialist supporting global users, data quality and reporting at Preferred by Nature, a nonprofit advancing sustainable land management and climate-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, practical Salesforce support to the global workforce
- Respond to questions, investigate issues and follow through to resolution
- Manage system-change requests by gathering information, clarifying user needs and involving appropriate colleagues
- Configure screens, data views, reports, dashboards and team-focused home pages
- Work with internal stakeholders to simplify processes and improve system pages and everyday tasks
- Support system maintenance, data-quality reviews, data cleaning and consistent data-management practices
- Develop reports and dashboards for performance analysis, trend identification and informed decision-making
- Create user guides and training materials and deliver tailored onboarding and training
- Keep Salesforce and related-technology knowledge current, including artificial intelligence developments
- Report to the Senior Salesforce Team Lead
- Meet first-year milestones for Salesforce environment knowledge, independent support, training delivery, data-quality improvements and prioritized system/process-improvement planning
Requirements:
- Experience providing application, CRM or business systems support, ideally within Salesforce or a similar platform
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience understanding stakeholder requirements, resolving issues and delivering practical solutions
- Strong customer service orientation and proactive approach to helping users
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Understanding of data quality, data governance and information management, with close attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of basic User Experience and User Interface principles
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Motivation to develop Salesforce expertise and interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence in business systems
- Only applicants legally eligible to work in India will be considered
- Hands-on Salesforce user-support experience, system-page or data-view configuration, report/dashboard development, user-guide creation, training/onboarding delivery, and support across teams/countries/technical levels are desirable but not necessary
