Job Description

Senior A/R Manager automatisiert Order2Cash, Umsatzsteuer-Meldewesen und Zahlungsabstimmungen bei Glow25, einem Berliner Beauty- und Pro-Aging-Unternehmen. Fachliche Führung und Monatsabschlussverantwortung.

Responsibilities:

  • Further develop the accounting systems landscape and drive automation across the entire Order-to-Cash process
  • Automate marketplace settlements and optimize transaction posting
  • Structure international regulatory reporting for OSS, VAT returns, and EC Sales Lists, and transition it to a standardized, tool-supported process
  • Optimize cash application and bank reconciliation for payment service providers such as PayPal, Stripe, and Amazon Payments
  • Prepare processes for new countries and sales channels
  • Establish DSO and revenue reporting to measure A/R performance
  • Act as the escalation point for disputed invoices, marketplace clarification cases, and compliance edge cases
  • Ensure the quality of postings and filings through spot checks and standardized procedures
  • Share process knowledge with the team and establish robust backup arrangements
  • Coordinate and take ownership of the A/R component of the month-end close
  • Systematically calculate and record month-end accruals
  • Provide subject-matter input when integrating new sales channels or entering new countries

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with a focus on Accounts Receivable (A/R) or receivables management
  • Industry knowledge in e-commerce, marketplaces, or multichannel environments, including Amazon, Zalando, fee structures, settlements, chargebacks, and returns
  • Strong knowledge of international VAT reporting, including OSS, VAT returns, and EC Sales Lists (ESL)
  • Proficiency in DATEV, SAP, NetSuite, or comparable ERP/accounting systems
  • Experience with e-commerce accounting tools, such as Shopify, WooCommerce integrations, or marketplace APIs, is a plus
  • Proven track record of building and automating finance processes
  • Ability to provide subject-matter leadership, share knowledge, ensure quality, and handle escalations confidently
  • German language skills at C1 level
  • Good command of English
