Job Description
Shopify Developer owning high-volume Shopify Plus storefronts, custom apps, and integrations. Building scalable e-commerce solutions for Satellite Office’s international brand clients.
Responsibilities:
- Take technical ownership of the Shopify Plus ecosystem
- Develop, test, and deploy Shopify Plus theme features
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and site speed
- Build and maintain custom Shopify apps
- Architect and manage integrations between Shopify, NetSuite ERP, 3PLs, Klaviyo, and Gorgias
- Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams on user experiences, A/B tests, and personalization
- Help architect future technical solutions including AI-driven search and Generative Engine Optimisation
- Conduct code reviews and maintain Git version control
- Ensure platform scalability and security
Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Deep experience with Shopify Plus, including Shopify Scripts and custom app development
- Proven experience with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs and mission-critical integrations
- Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics, Core Web Vitals, and page-speed optimization
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
- 3–5+ years of experience in a dedicated Shopify development role
- Portfolio demonstrating successful development on high-volume Shopify Plus stores
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex e-commerce API integrations, such as ERP, 3PL, or WMS
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js or headless commerce is nice to have
- Direct Shopify–NetSuite ERP integration experience is nice to have
- Familiarity with Klaviyo and Gorgias is nice to have
- Interest or experience in AI-assisted development tools is nice to have
