Job Description
Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist providing financial support to clients in a remote startup environment. Managing full revenue cycle from quote to cash in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Leading end-to-end revenue operations — from generating quotes and invoices to reconciling discrepancies, tracking receivables, and ensuring timely collections
- Review accuracy against order forms, and resolve discrepancies with sales or customers
- Responding to customer and sales questions on invoicing, taking ownership of collections, and confidently pushing back when needed
- Supporting accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with the accounting team and reviewing SQL query outputs
- Optimizing key systems (QuickBooks Online, Stripe) while leading upgrades, automation projects, and process improvements
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding billing, invoices, and payment statuses
Requirements:
- 2+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, with strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations
- Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle (quote-to-cash)
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Stripe, plus ability to review SQL outputs for accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies and push back when necessary with customers or sales
- Experience with process improvements, system upgrades, and automation projects
- Familiarity with startup accounting practices and ability to adapt to evolving priorities
- Bonus: experience with Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Mercury, Chase, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp
- Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with high integrity, ownership, and coachability, who can work independently or collaboratively
- General awareness of how AI is being applied in accounting and operations (a plus)
