Job Description
Agile IT Project Manager leading complex Epic EMR technology projects at T2 Group. Collaborating with teams to deliver impactful healthcare solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Epic-related project initiatives (e.g., implementation, optimization, integration, upgrades) using Agile project management principles.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Epic analysts, IT engineers, clinical staff, and leadership to define and deliver project objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Document and track user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks to ensure project success.
- Maintain alignment with compliance standards, data privacy regulations (HIPAA), and change management best practices.
- Deliver timely status reports and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain T2 Tech’s reputation for excellence in delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on Epic EMR-related projects.
- Solid understanding of Epic modules such as Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, or others.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven experience leading Agile teams in a healthcare or consulting environment.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage competing priorities.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
- Experience in healthcare IT environments, especially with provider organizations like hospitals or health systems.
