Job Description

Senior Collections Analyst managing U.S. accounts receivable for Presidio, a provider of AI, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and digital transformation solutions. Driving collections, resolving discrepancies, maintaining account records, and reporting delinquent balances.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the assigned portfolio to meet quarterly targets for cash collection and past-due balances
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues
  • Prepare dunning notices and collection correspondence
  • Answer inquiries about bills, accounts receivable, and collection items
  • Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Engage sales and senior management to accelerate collections when necessary
  • Communicate and follow up with the sales department regarding customer accounts
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and sales
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries
  • Monitor accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities
  • Collect, categorize, and maintain accounts receivable collections records in Getpaid
  • Report current and delinquent AR balances and collections
  • Prepare ad hoc and management-required reports
  • Process customer refunds, account adjustments, small-balance write-offs, and credit memos
  • Perform customer reconciliations and resolve client discrepancies and short payments

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain patience and professionalism with challenging customers and vendors
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent command of grammar and language
  • Strong oral and written interpersonal and communication skills focused on customer service
  • Ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and build successful relationships
  • Curiosity and an auditor’s mentality to investigate and uncover anomalies
  • Consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative solutions
  • Ability to break complex problems into component parts and reach timely solutions
  • Flexibility to thrive in a time-sensitive environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Positive attitude and willingness to improve processes and procedures
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and high standards
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Access, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, graphs/charts/visuals, and analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience required
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Finance or Collections required
  • Ability to work remotely in the United States
