Job Description
Senior Analyst conducting research and analysis on GCC economy at Eurasia Group. Focusing on investments, regulatory changes, and client engagement in the MENA region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic and political developments in the Arab Gulf, with a focus on long-term investment projects and transformations.
- Provide insights on regulatory changes and business framework advancements that influence investment priorities in the GCC region.
- Produce well-structured analytical reports and thought leadership pieces, translating complex information into accessible insights for clients.
- Engage directly with clients, understanding their needs, offering tailored advice, and developing meaningful relationships to support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with the broader Eurasia Group team to ensure the integration of regional insights into global political risk analysis and client solutions.
- Support Business Development activities by identifying opportunities and facilitating client interactions.
Requirements:
- A background in research and analysis with at least 7 years of relevant experience focusing on the MENA region, particularly the GCC countries.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats.
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Preference for candidates currently located in the region (UAE or Saudi Arabia), given the importance of on-the-ground insight and understanding.
- An advanced degree in political science, economics, international relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
