Job Description

Sr. Associate in Outside Sales for HVAC solutions at Carrier, targeting industrial heating systems in East Germany. Driving sales growth through new customer acquisition and existing client management.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets in East Germany
  • Acquire new customers and manage existing accounts
  • Perform proper sales correspondence, such as visit reports, route planning and maintenance of customer data
  • Conduct market analysis and sales planning/forecasting based on data determined in coordination with the Sales Manager
  • Develop and implement a territory/segment plan to achieve new sales targets for burners (industrial/commercial applications)
  • Identify, qualify and close deals with EPCs, installers, OEMs, consultants and end users
  • Provide technical advice on sizing, application selection, preparing quotations and competitive positioning
  • Manage proposals/tenders, pricing and negotiations to protect margin while securing orders
  • Increase service revenue through service contracts, planned maintenance, retrofit/upgrade opportunities and commissioning support
  • Drive sales of spare parts and consumables by promoting recommended parts lists, inventory strategies and lifecycle replacement programs
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure customer expectations are met and that service visits are converted into sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of relevant field/sales experience in the following areas: industrial/commercial heating systems, burners, boiler houses, combustion systems or thermal HVAC applications
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and margin targets in a technical sales environment
  • Experience selling aftermarket products (service contracts, spare parts, upgrades) is required
  • Sales competencies: demonstrated expertise in lead generation and territory planning, consultative/solution-based selling, negotiating and closing complex deals, managing multiple stakeholders (end users, consultants, installers, service teams), strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
