Job Description
Senior BIM/VDC Project Manager leading model-based coordination and digital delivery for complex AEC projects. Building relationships and driving innovation in workflows with a strategic focus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead model-based coordination and digital delivery across complex AEC projects while supporting client relationships, strategic pursuits, and firm growth
- Align BIM/VDC scope, schedule, budget, and staffing with overall project goals
- Serve as primary BIM/VDC point of contact for owners, design teams, contractors, trade partners, and internal staff
- Establish QA/QC protocols for models, documentation, and coordination milestones; identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support and guide Project Leads in running multidisciplinary coordination meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, design partners, and industry stakeholders
- Develop and maintain BIM/VDC standards, templates, workflows, and best practices across projects and offices
- Supervise, mentor, and develop BIM/VDC coordinators, specialists, and modelers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 8+ years in BIM, VDC, construction technology, or digital project delivery; 3+ years leading BIM/VDC on complex AEC projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting client relationships, pursuits, proposals, or presentations
- Advanced proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, and similar platforms
- Experience developing BIM Execution Plans, clash detection workflows, and model standards
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
