Job Description
Senior Claims Manager for Renters at Assurant, leading claims management and driving digital transformation initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and train managers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Renter’s claims teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing
- Drive digital adoption and process automation across claims operations
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and improve procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Customer Service on complex claims
- Oversee escalated claims, settlements, and customer complaints
- Develop and implement training programs and SOPs
- Recruit, mentor, and develop front line managers
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of P&C claims management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Strong people management experience
- P&C Adjuster license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Skilled in negotiation, mediation, and interpreting policy/legal documents.
