Job Description

Senior Director shaping Labcorp’s digital diagnostics strategy for U.S. health systems. Driving EHR, portal, and specialty-testing adoption through enterprise commercial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of multi-year digital strategy for Specialty diagnostics across health systems
  • Champion change management and adoption strategies for digital health tools and diagnostics
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, EHR vendor leadership, and digital solution stakeholders
  • Advise senior leadership by translating technical capabilities into strategic business value and outcomes
  • Translate IT, engineering, business, and customer needs to drive specialty testing growth
  • Collaborate across business divisions, IT, Science/Clinical, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, Contracting, Legal, and Compliance
  • Drive EMR/portal integration strategy to improve provider workflows and diagnostic uptake
  • Assess innovations and opportunities in digital health
  • Provide input on budgets, resource forecasting, and revenue opportunities for digital solutions and EHR/portal enhancements
  • Simplify complex offerings into messaging that drives provider adoption of Specialty diagnostics
  • Inform the organization about industry changes and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Develop and implement enterprise commercial strategies for Specialty Diagnostics through EHR integrations, portals, and other digital solutions
  • Drive Labcorp’s preferred-lab-partner positioning for provider and health system customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 or more years of experience in product management, software implementation for clinical decision support, data science, or selling digital or technology products in healthcare
  • 8 or more years of experience working directly with commercial/clinical teams and key opinion leaders
  • Understanding of commercial sales processes and account-based marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with technology platforms, digital health tools, and interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, and LOINC
  • Understanding of provider workflows and HHS business models
  • Understanding of Specialty testing patient care management, provider workflows, testing-result interpretation, guidelines, recommendations, clinical trends, population health management, healthcare utilization goals, and quality metrics
  • Ability to lead by influence and manage multiple projects collaboratively
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability, accountability, project management, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data for business decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with senior executives
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without authority
  • Growth mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to travel 10–20%, depending on working location
  • Master’s degree preferred
