Job Description
Global Privacy Director leading data protection strategy for TaskUs. Ensuring compliance with global privacy laws and managing a diverse privacy team.
Responsibilities:
- develop and execute a global privacy roadmap
- act as a subject matter expert on global privacy laws
- partner with Sales and Legal to negotiate Data Processing Addendums
- ensure ethical and compliant use of generative AI and ML models
- embed privacy requirements into product development
- oversee privacy due diligence and lifecycle management of vendors
- lead Global Privacy Incident Response Team
- manage Data Protection Impact Assessments and privacy audits
- foster a culture of privacy awareness across the global frontline
- lead and scale a multidisciplinary global privacy team
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in data privacy, legal, or compliance
- at least 5 years in a global leadership role
- JD or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, or Business required
- CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and CIPM certifications are highly preferred
- Deep understanding of data flows through modern cloud infrastructure
- Experience managing remote, multicultural teams
