Job Description
Senior Health & Safety Audit Manager conducting audits and advisory work across Koch manufacturing businesses. Identifying risks, strengthening compliance capabilities, and driving sustainable improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct health & safety compliance audits and advisory activities
- Perform audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Help sites understand the rationale behind observed opportunities
- Evaluate site programs and operations to identify risks, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Develop clear, concise, and actionable audit observations
- Coach and mentor facility personnel and business leaders
- Work with site personnel to understand root causes and connect findings to practical actions
- Contribute to tools and processes that improve audit consistency and methodologies
- Participate in initiatives that enhance audit effectiveness and stakeholder value
- Operate without direct reports
Requirements:
- Demonstrated capability in health & safety compliance program development and oversight, including energy control and machine guarding
- Hands-on experience supporting EH&S programs in manufacturing
- Ability to articulate EH&S concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Ability to use current and emerging technologies to analyze data and provide perspectives on risk-related themes
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, or enable others to build organizational capability
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time, including some international travel
- Should be in proximity to a major airport, preferably in the Eastern half of the United States
- Health & Safety compliance auditing experience and/or training
- Familiarity with safety management systems
- Compliance certification(s), such as Certified Safety Professional
- Significant experience in electrical safety, machine guarding, and higher-risk regulatory and industry standards
- Process Safety Management auditing and program support experience
- Experience with EH&S management software and tools, including compliance tracking, incident reporting, or audit management systems
- Ability to pass a drug test where required
