Job Description

Senior Analyst at Enveritas improving smallholder farmers' outcomes through data-driven interventions across farming communities. Engaging in research, program design, and impact assessment for sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, design, and drive interventions that improve outcomes for smallholder farmers and their communities
  • Research, analyze, and quantify the potential of solutions to sustainability challenges
  • Assess and develop candidate interventions and ideas across precision agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, carbon sequestration, microfinance, and related areas
  • Lead the design, launch, and management of programs
  • Spend substantial time at origin, in smallholder communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, or Asia
  • Collaborate across the organization and with external partners and stakeholders to build the credibility and relationships that make change possible

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience
  • At least 2 years in a high-intensity environment (strategy consulting, finance/PE, a VC-backed start-up, or similar)
  • A university degree in science or engineering (preferred) and ideally 1–3 additional years of experience in a relevant domain
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with large datasets; some knowledge of basic statistics and the scientific method; comfort with R, Python (including, increasingly, the ability to use AI tools to code and automate analyses)
  • The ability to structure complex problems and communicate them clearly and succinctly
