Job Description

Stock plan implementation consultant onboarding clients onto Empower’s equity administration platform. Managing data conversion, system configuration, broker coordination, and client training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to work planning and timelines for new client implementation
  • Communicate with clients to resolve data-related questions
  • Perform data conversion and import work, including quality review of stock plan-specific data and equity plan scenarios
  • Configure the Empower Stock Plan Services database, including plans, vesting and termination schedules, and participant and broker portal settings
  • Coordinate with internal and external broker-dealer teams on brokerage configuration, account setup, and initial share balances
  • Participate in client implementation communications and calls
  • Design and document implementation processes
  • Develop client training plans and materials
  • Train new clients on stock plan system functionality
  • Complete implementation checklists
  • Oversee adherence to ESPS Data Classification and Information Handling Procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with equity or stock plan administration systems strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in data analysis, conversion, and validation
  • Knowledge of financial transactions, cap tables, and equity compensation concepts
  • Proficiency with database configuration and system setup
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to train clients and explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, including CPT/OPT
