Job Description

Senior Major Account Executive developing assigned territory and maintaining existing customers at Akamai. Maximizing bookings and logos via business development and strategic sales plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the assigned territory and maintaining existing customers.
  • Maximizing existing bookings, logos via a combination of assigned target list & business development.
  • Building & executing territory plans. Developing ecosystem of partners, consultants and influencers.
  • Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers.
  • Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution.
  • Working with integrated account teams to develop the assigned territory and build awareness about Akamai's offerings.
  • Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies.

Requirements:

  • Have 10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Have relevant industry connects with customers, partners and consultants.
  • Have been successful in consultative selling cloud-based offerings in enterprise including FSI, Hi-tech & Large enterprises.
  • Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Web Security, Enterprise security, SASE & leading Cloud Service Providers.
  • Show high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower.
