Job Description

Senior Manager, Congress Lead operationalizing AstraZeneca's breast franchise strategy through Congress execution. Collaborating with cross-functional partners and managing budgets for congress activation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • operationalize AstraZeneca’s breast franchise strategy through Congress execution
  • responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing compliant congress activation activities
  • work in close collaboration with franchise counterparts and cross-functional partners
  • drive executional alignment across multiple breast cancer brands and indications through operational excellence
  • manage budget and associated AZ processes
  • lead the tactical elements of the annual operational planning process in partnership with agencies and cross-functional partners
  • manage partner agency relationships, workflow and related project budgets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry
  • experience in managed markets, brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning
  • Prior in-line congress lead experience preferred
  • MBA in relevant field preferred
  • Oncology, rare disease, or specialty care experience highly preferred
  • Understanding of U.S. Oncology landscape including Community Oncology and Hospital Oncology dynamics, GPOs, Payer landscape, Specialty Pharmacy stakeholders
  • Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, leading ad agency, providing direction on annual budget planning)
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing)
  • Familiarity with the breast cancer landscape, treatments, and patient journeys
