Job Description

Senior Manager leading the Performance Improvement & Excellence team at renowned UHN hospital. Focus on establishing data-driven culture and fostering innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and nurtures strategic partnerships across UHN.
  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical leaders.
  • Lead clinical programs in adopting a data-driven culture.
  • Develop and manage processes to establish standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate complex problem-solving and innovative strategies.
  • Lead a team of cross-functional analysts to generate insights.
  • Represent UHN Data & Analytics in leadership meetings and committees.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At minimum ten (10) years of practical experience in hospital/healthcare management/leadership roles with a proven understanding of data analysis principles, data interpretation, data visualization, and quality improvement
  • Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean/Six Sigma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive stakeholder/relationship and change management knowledge and expertise.
  • Ability to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to identify and address complex issues in healthcare delivery and develop actionable strategies for improvement.
  • Proven experience in managing a high performing and diverse team
