Job Description
Senior Manager leading the Performance Improvement & Excellence team at renowned UHN hospital. Focus on establishing data-driven culture and fostering innovative healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and nurtures strategic partnerships across UHN.
- Builds strong collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical leaders.
- Lead clinical programs in adopting a data-driven culture.
- Develop and manage processes to establish standard operating policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate complex problem-solving and innovative strategies.
- Lead a team of cross-functional analysts to generate insights.
- Represent UHN Data & Analytics in leadership meetings and committees.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At minimum ten (10) years of practical experience in hospital/healthcare management/leadership roles with a proven understanding of data analysis principles, data interpretation, data visualization, and quality improvement
- Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean/Six Sigma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive stakeholder/relationship and change management knowledge and expertise.
- Ability to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and analytical ability with attention to detail.
- Capacity to identify and address complex issues in healthcare delivery and develop actionable strategies for improvement.
- Proven experience in managing a high performing and diverse team
