Job Description

Hilton sales manager growing corporate accounts and market share for Brazil’s hotel portfolio. Coaching teammates and driving domestic revenue through account development.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee account management and account development for a vertically segmented roster of accounts in Brazil
  • Solicit, qualify, generate, and convert new business for participating ASO Brazil hotels from local accounts
  • Develop overall account planning strategy to facilitate growth
  • Negotiate business travel sales contracts with corporate accounts and manage local contracting and RFP processes
  • Assist with HR and coach one ASO Brazil FTE
  • Assist the Managing Director of Sales - HWS CALA with hotel and franchise ownership group relationships
  • Participate in strategy calls and meetings with operator and Hilton Managed property commercial teams
  • Participate in pre-opening meetings, market review strategy with brands, and annual hotel reviews
  • Introduce clients during sales calls, tradeshows, conventions, and local events
  • Assist hotels with conflict resolution, contract negotiation, business and revenue needs, and closing sales
  • Represent the Brazil Area Sales Team at FAM trips, domestic tradeshows, and industry events
  • Identify priority and need hotels, maintain hotel relationships, and strategize accordingly
  • Produce predetermined room, meetings, and food and beverage revenue; achieve booked domestic revenue quotas and sales competencies
  • Maintain GSE, Salesforce, and MicroStrategy records, including call reports, meeting profiles, history, and traces
  • Submit monthly and requested reports; complete projects and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) years of work experience in Travel Industry Sales
  • Two (2) years leading teams
  • Portuguese, Spanish and English fluency (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Web-Ex, MS Teams and Zoom
  • Negotiation and sales skills
  • Experience working in a home-office environment (not including the pandemic)
  • Travel up to 40%
  • BA/BS bachelor's degree (useful, not required)
  • Five (5) years of direct sales experience, preferably for a corporate office representing numerous brands and hotels
  • Experience in Delphi or similar property sales management system
  • Experience using Salesforce and MicroStrategy
