Job Description

Sr National Account Manager delivering sales growth and profitability for Walmart Inc accounts while building omni-channel relationships. Managing P&L and executing strategic initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dog-friendly workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales growth and profitability targets for total Walmart Inc accounts.
  • Total P&L ownership.
  • Build omni-channel customer relationships at the buyer level and facilitate connectivity within other functional areas.
  • Build strong internal relationships and work directly with internal cross-functional teams to drive category, brand, channel and account specific initiatives.
  • Develop and execute omnichannel strategies and growth plans across Walmart Inc.
  • Drive distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotional strategies to optimize sales performance and trade spend efficiency.
  • Lead account strategy development and implementation to identify and capture new and/or emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor account and customer performance via the Scintilla Charter platform.
  • Develop and execute Walmart Inc. promotional plans and activities.
  • Manage and enforce PSB MRP policy and pricing.
  • Negotiate and manage new programs, trade funds and terms.
  • Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales and shipment forecasts to achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience selling to Walmart.
  • Must live within a reasonable distance to Walmart HQ.
  • Proven track record of success with Walmart.
  • Expert in Retail Link and Scintilla Charter.
  • Walmart Marketplace experience and track record of success.
  • Previous Category Management or Category Insights experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with and firm understanding of syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI).
  • Ability to travel up to 20% overnight.
