Job Description
RTR Jr Lead managing daily activities of the RTR team as a remote employee. Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance in the financial operations of a global company.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility.
- Conduct regular meetings, that include issue discussions.
- Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed.
- Ensure department systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies.
- Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures.
- Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center.
- Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with accuracy and quality expected.
- Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives.
- Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor´s Degree on Accounting with 3 + years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in lead role in a finance or accounting function is a plus.
- Experience in ERP migration, HFM and Black Line is a plus.
- Proficient in SBD’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes (GL Accounting).
- Ability to multitask, highly organized.
- Excellent problem identification and prioritization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge/experience in US GAAP is a plus.
