Job Description
SEO Manager overseeing SEO strategy, quality control, personnel, and client communication. Supporting DealerOn’s online marketing services for automotive dealerships across the Americas.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all account work, personnel, and client communication related to the SEO team
- Answer difficult questions and resolve major client issues
- Guide ongoing SEO tactic and strategy adjustments
- Develop and perform ongoing training for the SEO team
- Handle day-to-day personnel issues
- Perform sales demos upon request
- Perform technical SEO audits on non-SEO clients
- Oversee SEO Consultants
- Quality-control initial and recurring tasks, including optimizations, linkbuilding, review responses, blog posts, social media posts, reports, and client deliverables
- Hire, terminate, and oversee department employees
- Lead monthly audits of SEO team work
- Run demos with the sales team
- Manage communications between DealerOn departments
- Execute and support projects contributing to department OKRs, roadmaps, and churn initiatives
- Collaborate with the Training team on education and skill development for the SEO department
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience
- Minimum of 4 years SEO experience
- 5 years management experience
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal)
- Experience with SEO/Site auditing tools (Screaming Frog)
- Excellent content writing and content editing ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Tool Suite (Excel and Word)
- Proficient in Google Analytics and data analysis
- Advanced experience in Local SEO
- Must be a US resident
- Successful completion of a background check as a condition of joining the team
- Preferred: Advanced HTML and CSS knowledge
- Preferred: Experience in the automotive field
- Preferred: PR and outreach experience
- Preferred: Experience managing processes for a large team of SEO Consultants
