Job Description
ServiceNow developer building CMDB, ITSM, and asset-management solutions for SAIC, a mission technology integrator. Configuring workflows, integrations, and catalog features for defense and enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications using CMDB modules
- Work on several customers' platforms during the same period
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
- Perform data analysis, integrations, and migration activities
- Customize ServiceNow catalog features, workflows, and functionalities
- Customize ServiceNow asset management features and integrations with existing client software
- Create catalog items and customize workflows
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Provide technical support and maintenance for ServiceNow implementations
- Stay current with ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration
- Four additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
- Must have or be able to obtain ServiceNow CIS in one or more of: SPM, Data Foundations, DISC, SAM, HAM
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Script, and PowerShell
- Understanding of ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM best practices and frameworks
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and third-party integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Preferred: experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and other ITOM/ITAM functionalities
- Preferred: familiarity with CMDB and its role in ITOM and ITAM processes
- Preferred: prior experience in IT asset management and software license management
