Job Description
OpenText xECM architect integrating SAP content management with enterprise business processes. Designing, deploying, automating, and migrating solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement OpenText Extended ECM solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.
- Architect unified views connecting structured SAP data with unstructured content.
- Develop custom OpenText ECM workspaces for procurement, employee records, and asset lifecycle management.
- Integrate Extended ECM with SAP using ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, APIs, and middleware.
- Design SAP data and document archiving strategies.
- Collaborate with SAP teams across finance, HR, procurement, and engineering processes.
- Manage unstructured content lifecycles, metadata, classification, governance, and records management compliance.
- Implement automated workflows for invoice management, HR onboarding, and engineering document control.
- Lead cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments integrating AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Align ECM solutions with SAP RISE and GROW programs.
- Develop custom solutions and automations using Java, JavaScript, or ABAP.
- Implement AI-powered capabilities such as OpenText Content Aviator and SAP Joule.
- Lead blueprinting, architecture, installation, configuration, and testing for SAP projects.
- Manage data migration from legacy ECM systems and support SAP upgrades.
- Lead and mentor implementation teams while coordinating with Professional Services, SAP Basis, developers, and business analysts.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify content management needs and improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Report to the Director of Delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, SAP integrations, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP solutions.
- Extensive experience with OpenText Extended ECM and SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, and data/document archiving strategies.
- Proficiency in content management best practices, metadata management, and compliance standards.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or ABAP, or low-code/no-code configuration within OpenText tools.
- Ability to map SAP business processes to content management needs across finance, HR, procurement, and plant maintenance.
- Expertise with SAP FI, PM, PS, and MM business processes.
- Strong knowledge of OpenText Fastrack or similar solution design and implementation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, leadership, mentoring, and adaptability skills.
- OpenText and SAP certifications are highly desirable, not required.
