Job Description
Staff Product Designer leading complex, cross-team product experiences for HighLevel’s AI-powered sales and marketing platform. Shaping AI workflows, design systems and high-fidelity product experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design strategy and execution for complex initiatives spanning multiple teams, product surfaces or customer workflows
- Translate customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, data signals and product strategy into clear experience direction
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to clarify problem spaces, sequence design work and align teams around high-quality outcomes
- Create prototypes, workflows, interaction models and high-fidelity designs
- Identify product experience gaps, design debt and cross-team inconsistencies and turn them into practical improvements
- Shape AI-enabled workflows, intelligent interfaces and automation-heavy experiences
- Strengthen shared patterns, design-system adoption, accessibility standards and implementation guidance
- Mentor senior and lead designers through critique, coaching, product judgment, storytelling and design rationale
- Collaborate effectively across US and India time zones
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant product design experience
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating staff-level craft, product judgment, customer empathy, systems thinking, measurable impact and shipped product quality
- Experience shaping product direction beyond a single feature or team
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft
- Experience across research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy and usability testing
- Strong prototyping fluency using Figma, Framer, AI coding tools or lightweight front-end code
- Experience designing AI-powered, automation-heavy or intelligent product experiences
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns and scalable product experience decisions
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a track record of mentoring designers
- Experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis or workflow acceleration is mandatory
- Portfolio required; applications without a portfolio will not be considered
