Job Description

Strategic Account Manager responsible for client satisfaction, onboarding, and revenue growth for charter schools and nonprofit organizations at Charter Impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the trusted point of contact across the end-to-end customer journey: Onboarding through Renewal
  • Become an expert in all Charter Impact services to support the overall success of the portfolio of clients
  • Own the post-sale onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to service delivery
  • Partner with internal teams and leverage project management technologies to align client goals, scope, timelines, and success metrics
  • Ensure clients understand and adopt Charter Impact’s services, tools, and ongoing engagement model
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to expand client relationships across Charter Impact's service offerings
  • Secure client renewals and manage them through contract execution. Demonstrate value through areas such as ROI and strong executive alignment
  • Maintain accurate account notes, renewal forecasts, and opportunity tracking in CRM (e.g., HubSpot)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or consulting within B2B professional services, financial services, or education-adjacent environments
  • Bonus: Experience working with charter schools, K-12 education, or public-sector–adjacent organizations
  • Proven experience owning renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell responsibilities and achieving/exceeding targets
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong project management and time management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal delivery teams and sales
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exhibits a consultative, mission-aligned mindset
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects with confidence and empathy
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting markets, client needs, and internal process/systems improvements
  • Ability to maintain, encourage and participate in a close and highly collaborative team environment
  • Ability to understand and carry out directions in an independent manner
  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot and professional communication tools like RingCentral, Canva, Microsoft 365, and Adobe
