Job Description
Technical Manager overseeing and coordinating technical activities in IT infrastructure for U.S. organizations. Leading a team and ensuring project delivery with technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to help team members achieve project and career objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to resolve complex technical issues.
- Allocate and manage technical resources effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with other managers to ensure optimal utilization of team resources.
- Ensure clear and effective communication within the technical team and with stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical leadership role within large organizations.
- Strong Linux experience preferred.
- Proven experience in project management and successful delivery of technical projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 20 or more members.
Benefits:
- Base pay of $1,200 - $1,500 a month plus 2 week vacation.
