Job Description
Territory Business Manager growing Zoetis’s dairy animal-health business across Twin Falls, Idaho. Managing producer, veterinary, dealer, and distributor relationships while driving sales and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Zoetis Animal Health Dairy business with distributors, veterinarians, dealers, and producers in the assigned territory
- Call on dairy producers, veterinarians, dealers, and distributor representatives
- Quantify and qualify differences among Zoetis products and competitor products
- Conduct educational training and producer seminars using presentation and selling skills
- Build relationships and influence within key trade channels, including veterinarians, distributors, extension, and university personnel
- Manage a broad geographic area and diverse customer base to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and meet business objectives
- Build customer trust through reliability, credibility, and follow-up
- Plan territory priorities through data analysis, resource utilization, and business-plan execution
- Apply dairy-industry, product, business, and financial knowledge
- Collaborate as a team player
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required
- Minimum of 3 years of cattle-related experience for a Territory Business Manager
- Animal Health experience and knowledge of the Dairy industry preferred
- In-depth product and disease knowledge
- Experience with Dairy Comp and PC Dart is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to drive to customer locations across the defined geography
- Ability to work on dairy operations
- Willingness to work with cows from husbandry to treatment administration and product administration education
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight, including some weekends, approximately 25%
- Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US
