Job Description
Territory Manager growing Tandem Diabetes Care’s insulin pump sales across Louisville. Building provider relationships, educating patients, and executing strategic territory plans.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring insulin pump therapy to patients and providers
- Meet or exceed sales goals through strategic business planning and customer identification
- Grow the territory and build relationships with healthcare professionals
- Create and execute territory plans
- Identify opportunities, open doors, and build partnerships with MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, and other healthcare professionals
- Use the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth
- Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators
- Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences
- Ensure compliance with Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements
- Perform field-based work in Louisville, Kentucky
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of industry sales experience
- Preferably experience in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care
- Ability to travel up to 80% within the territory
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market

- Successful completion of a drug test and background check required
