Job Description
Territory Manager in Christchurch responsible for growing existing customer accounts at Solenis. Driving profitable growth through strong relationships and technical solutions in a sustainable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving the targeted sales and margin levels for the territory
- Maintaining and developing key customer and distributor relationships
- Maximizing the performance of the distributor team by providing resources, support and assistance
- Customer Relationship Management
- Supporting Sector Managers and business in rolling out new business within territory
- Keeping abreast of competitor products, pricing and activity
- Servicing customers to fulfil contractual requirements through call plans, sales reporting, and customer reviews
- Performing planned service checks and preventive maintenance
- Growing sales through direct and distributor sales
- Implementing the business plan and sales strategy for the territory
- Identifying and targeting sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Preparing and delivering product presentations that address clients' needs
Requirements:
- Sales and Service Skills/experience
- Tertiary qualification preferably in a technical or commercial field
- Minimum of 2-3 years selling technical servicing experience
- Possess sound business acumen and desire to achieve
- Quick to learn and adapt to new technical skills and knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Outlook Suite / word, excel, PowerPoint skills required
- Ability to travel monthly – at least 10 days a month within New Zealand
- Full and valid driver’s license
